Hello.

      Many years ago in the backseat of my parents’ car, 3 year old me was hard at work memorizing various musical numbers. I began taking voice lessons at age 7, determined to learn everything I could about being not just a good singer, but a great one. One who had the knowledge and expertise to sing with ease and versatility. One who sang with passion and could silence a room full of people with just one note.

      Performing came naturally to me and I spent my childhood years as a soloist for churches, concerts, and in many theater productions. Soon I was frequenting baseball games, not only because my older brothers played, but to sing the national anthem for countless other games and events. As my teacher at the time started introducing me to the genre of opera, I discovered my voice was capable of the range and agility it took to sing the challenging repertoire. I first recorded the famous Queen of the Night’s aria “Der Hölle Rache” at age 9. During my high school years I performed in as many choir groups as I could fit into my schedule- up to 4 by senior year. I also performed in talent shows, and as a soloist with the high school orchestra.

      Following my desire to grow as a singer and musician, I attended Shenandoah University (SU) for an undergraduate degree in Music Performance as well as University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) where I achieved a Master’s in Music Performance.  I was given ample performance opportunities that both challenged and fueled my craft. Each semester my professors encouraged and pushed me to new milestones. I was involved in many productions, frequently performing as a soloist for different events and outreach programs, and learning roles like Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Adele in Die Fledermaus and Cinderella in the French opera Cendrillion.

      A consistent pursuit of mine throughout the years was songwriting. I began writing songs at the piano around age 11. My brother, who plays piano and guitar, worked with me to create arrangements which we performed and recorded together. As he developed a talent for sound engineering and producing music, we cowrote and recorded songs together at home. Though classical training and school became the central focus of my college years, I was still writing all the time and working on a way to transfer aspects of my formal training and education to my own writing and more mainstream pop style.

      After completing school, I shifted focus to evolving as a songwriter and performing contemporary pop music. My love for emotive melodies, honest expression, and catchy refrains stem from influences like The Beatles, The Supremes, Queen, to artists like Imogen Heap, Regina Spektor, and Marina. My songs demonstrate a unique style, wide range, and distinctive tone. I perform in and around the Piedmont Triad solo, as well as with Jefferson Dalby (piano). Since 2018 I have also appeared as a feat. singer with longstanding Greensboro rock band, Rich Lerner & The Groove with whom I released an original album with "Gotta Get That Groove" January 2023.

     Ever since the release of my debut pop single “Honey” ( Oct. 2021), my output of new music remains steady. In keeping with my eclectic musical taste and experience, I enjoy collaborating with other artists in various genres. My most prolific collaboration is with Harry Tommy, a rising producer signed with Sony Music Entertainment. We have released 6 singles and 1 EP to date, the most recent being a holiday song "C.H.R.I.S.T.M.A.S." (Dec. 2022)
